Topic 1: Child Labor

Children are exploited by forced labor practices such as slavery, drug trafficking, and sexual exploitation worldwide. Additionally children who are economically disadvantaged are more likely to stop attending school to work. UNICEF aims to protect the rights of children by addressing the need for immediate action, as well as the socioeconomic factors that make certain groups more vulnerable.

Topic 2: Disease Education

Communicable diseases such as measles, cholera and HIV disproportionately affect children. In areas with fragile health infrastructure and times of crises, children may become even more vulnerable to preventable disease. UNICEF aims to battle disease through multi-level education on sanitation practices, immunization and the spread of disease.
