Saladin and the Third Crusade
Delegates are crowded into the court of Saladin. King Richard “The Lionheart” of England and his crusader forces are in the realm. The Sultan must expel the invaders from their lands by any means necessary. Yet the court of Saladin should not fight blindly. The order of the realm needs to be tended to, with the treasury nearly empty and all revenue being used for the military. A decentralized realm pleads for the court of Saladin to ensure the defeat of these foreign invaders while preserving the sanctity of the realm.
