We believe in the College’s tradition of public service. IRCares, the service branch of the W&M IR Club, was founded in 2007 in an effort to expand the outreach of the club.

Every year, the  service branch of the International Relations Club at William and Mary. IRCares, raises money for a charity.

For the 2018-2019 academic year, IRCares is raising money for Global Children Cambodia, a nonprofit organisation that sponsors and provides the resources for university education for youth affected by the Cambodian Genocide. Global Children aims to build an educated, empowered and gender inclusive Cambodian citizenry through higher education.  Having a degree is the first major step to pulling these young adults out of poverty, and Global Children facilitates this by paying all tuition, board, transportation, and school supplies. IRC aims to raise enough money this year to fully-fund at least one student's education for a year, which will be $4200.

At WMHSMUN 32, we'll be selling brownies, stickers, drinks, candy-grams and teddy-grams. There will be a prize for the committee that raises the most money. Our Service Team will be coming to committees throughout the weekend, and we'll also have a table in the Sadler Center. We look forward to meeting you, and working together to raise money for a great cause.
