A Ruler for All: Akbar’s Court, 1562

In the golden age of the Mughal Empire, Emperor Akbar’s court stood at the crossroads of history, empire, and faith. The young emperor Akbar has served as emperor for 6 years, spearheading a series of ambitious political and religious reforms. The Mughal empire is well-positioned to expand further into the Indian subcontinent and Central Asia, cementing itself as a major power in the region. Economic trade between China and Western Asia flows through the Mughal empire, establishing it as a major economic power. 

Reforms are still needed to ensure that the advancements of the empire can be maintained, while neighbors patiently wait for any cracks in the empire, hoping to strike at signs of weakness. How can Akbar and his Cabinet lead the empire through this golden age, resisting the threat of neighboring powers, and promoting acceptance and unity across the empire?
