A Mythological Meeting: The Council of Gods
This committee is for novices only. See our novice policy for more information.
Topic 1: It’s the End of the World as We Know It
When the Council of the Gods gets together, you know something is wrong. Natural disasters, wars, and general chaos have been plaguing the world, so the gods have decided to convene the Council to figure out what exactly is going on. However, as they dig deeper, the gods get word of a massive serpent terrorizing tourists in Egypt and discover a ship in Denmark made of… toenails?! The gods must act quickly to stop these malevolent forces from carrying out their evil plots, or else face the end of the world.
Topic 2: Remember Me
The gods are immortal, but that doesn’t mean that they will exist forever. A god is sustained by the belief and memory of the human race, so without human memory, gods will fade away into oblivion. All the monuments, temples, and statues weren’t created just because they look pretty, but because they preserve the gods’ memory and are a major source of the gods’ power. Needless to say, when humans start forgetting, the gods get very worried. To the gods’ horror, a new goddess has been discovered, a combination of the worst beings from every mythology. She has the cunning of the Rakshasas, the cruelty of Kronos, and the strength of Balor–she is unlike anything the other gods have ever seen. She is a force of evil, set on destroying the gods’ temples, erasing their memory, and turning humanity against them.
